The Citi Private Bank Latin America is part of the fast growing Global Wealth Management International business which encompasses Europe and Asia. The Private Bank provides clients with comprehensive investment and banking choices. Products and Services include Investment Services, Global Trading Services, Risk Management, Credit and Lending, Alternative Investments, Real Estate Services, Traditional Banking Services, Trust & Global Wealth Structuring and Art Advisory. The Regional Financial Control team is responsible for consolidating and reporting the Latin America Region financial results. There are various financial control technology systems and processes utilized in managing budgets and forecasts to assist in developing business plans for Senior leadership. The Process Improvement Manager will manage multiple projects involving technical system enhancements and re-engineering of processes, increasing efficiency across an international client base.
RESPONSIBILITIES Partner regularly with developers during various steps of the project including: design, development, testing, implementation and user training; Analyze current data flow and propose optimized processes; Assess and create system enhancement opportunities; Prepare business case for approval by upper management; Provide assistance to monthly consolidation tasks (on-demand); Prepare monthly performance report with indicators that measure results from process improvement projects and overall data quality housed in Financial Control systems; Record all problems that surface during the Financial Month-end Close process and provide updates to problems logged from prior months.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred; Minimum 5 years Project Management experience required, financial services industry supporting technology infrastructure highly desired; Strong base knowledge in accounting fundamentals and business finance required; Strong PC technical skills, Advanced MS Excel and Access required, SQL and Visual Basic a plus; Ability to multi-task, think fast, learn quickly, with the capacity to anticipate, identify and resolve problems; Proactive with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to optimize processes and in-house applications; Superior written, communication and interpersonal skills required; Ability to build long-term business relationships across all levels of the organization; Ability to work in a team environment within large, highly matrixed environment.
