Circulation Marketing Manager

North Carolina Lawyers Weekly & South Carolina Lawyers Weekly

 

We are North Carolina Lawyers Weekly, part of Dolan Media Company, publisher of law and business newspapers in over 22 markets.  We are searching for a Circulation Marketing Manager to head circulation and marketing initiatives for North Carolina Lawyers Weekly and South Carolina Lawyers Weekly.  This position will be located in our Raleigh office.

 

Summary:  the Circulation & Marketing Manager’s primary goals are to improve North Carolina and South Carolina Lawyers Weekly's “brand awareness” and reputation and increase paid circulation.

 

Responsibilities: help create and achieve annual circulation/marketing budget, work with national circ team on companywide endeavors, generate and implement specific local circ efforts, work with telemarketing team to coordinate efforts and maximize results, become an expert in Circ Pro (our circulation system), know our readers, and know our market, call on the legal, real estate, business and finance communities to promote bulk sales, work with our PR firm on promotions, ad campaigns and events.

 

Requirements: significant experience and a proven track record in newspaper circulation/marketing, proficiency in Excel and circulation software (preferably Circ Pro), excellent communication skills, and strong work ethic.

Some travel to the Columbia, South Carolina, area will be required.
