Position Description:

Design and development of next generation X86 microprocessor products. Responsibilities include logic design, logic simulation, formal verification, logic synthesis, automatic placement and route, semi custom design (gate level custom place with automated routing), timing analysis, electrical analysis and verification. Contribute to synthesis and auto place & route methodology definitions, and interface with CAD teams and tool vendors.

Qualifications:

BSEE/BSCE plus a minimum of seven years of relevant experience or MSEE/MSCE plus a minimum of five years experience. Requires demonstrated technical expertise in the development of advanced integrated circuits, semi custom, synthesis and auto place and route design. Knowledge of transistor level design and X86 architecture a plus. Experience with SAPR tools, timing tools, Cadence and Synopsys tools, and Perl desired.
