Chief Financial Officer position is available at Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway Ltd. We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance, accounting, and information technology functions of the company. The general responsibilities of the position are: - Provide strategic financial input on decision making issues affecting the organization; - Manage the cash flow forecasts to ensure that the operating needs of the corporation are met; - Supervise the reporting process that includes weekly forecasts and monthly management financial results. - Manage, through business reviews and effective communication, relationships with affiliated financial institutions; - Manage the corporate asset protection program. Experience Requirements: This position requires an experienced leader and financial executive with 10 - 15 years experience leading the financial, and accounting departments of a medium size company. Applicants must have sound financial & accounting technical skills, be detailed oriented, organized and possess great communication skills. Knowledge of applications currently utilized is very beneficial. They are Prophix, MAS200, Railcar Management Inc. (RMI) and Microsoft Office Products. Railroad or other transportation industry experience helpful but not required. Bachelor's degree is required, MBA/MA preferred.
