Who You Are
We seek a financial and business leader who combines intellectual curiosity, outstanding technical skills, and sound financial training to serve as chief financial officer, working as a key member of the senior management team. Our candidate will be a hands-on team player who is able to operate effectively in a complex matrix organization that is committed to growth and expansion.

What You’ll Do
· Oversee all financial functions of the corporation and its individual operating units
· Develop strategic positioning to support capital and service expansion
· Review and/or establish policies and procedures related to its accounting practices
· Direct all fiscal activities such as accounting, budgets, audits, taxes, and the preparation of regulatory or government agency reports
Develop and implement systems for financial planning and controlCollaborate with clinical leadership in establishing models for capacity, utilization, cost, and productivity in all clinical programsOversee preparation of monthly financial statements and all other financial reportingPrepare and maintain a cash plan for the agency and managing banking/credit relationshipsPlan and oversee the agency’s budgeting process· Stay informed on all grant and regulatory matters pertaining to the agency and recommends appropriate actions to maximize funding and maintain compliance with all regulations
Either directly, or through support staff, manage all finance, accounting, and purchasing functions of the agencyImplement systems and procedures for internal auditing of the agency finances and operations, and coordinate activities relating to external auditsComplete special projects and other related duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or the Board of DirectorsHire, train and manage a well-trained, efficient, competent and committed financial support staff in compliance with all agency policies & proceduresWork closely with the President/CEO and senior management team to develop a strategic communication plan that includes tactical implementation program for all levels of the organization
Qualifications
· B.S./ B.A. degree
· Graduate degree in related field a plus
· CPA license strongly preferred
Ten + years management level experience in accounting or financeSuperior technical skills, including skills in financial modeling and use of relational databases Prior healthcare industry experience strongly preferredExperience in grant accounting preferred· Experience in strategic planning and execution
· Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
· Ability to create and maintain good working relationships within the company with all levels of management
· Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
· Previous management and leadership experience
· Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
· Proficient to expert level experience in PC computer systems (to include Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, Access, SQL experience is a plus)
