This is an Executive Management level opportunity responsible for strategic planning, staffing, and budget of all financial areas of the Bank.  The Chief Financial Officer will be a participating member of ALCO, Asset Liability Management, Pricing, Interest Rate Risk, and Risk Management Committees and will work closely with the Board of Directors to formulate and implement operating procedures.

Responsibilities

·          Manage and supervise finance operations to achieve goals of the bank

·          Counsel senior management on fiscal control and profitability

·          Prepare, present, and interpret financial reports to senior management

·          Direct accounting department activities

·          Provide leadership, training, motivation, and supervision within department

·          Develop, plan and recommend practices and procedures for proper financial control of the bank

·          Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare regulatory agency and government reports

·          Direct auditing, record keeping and accounting activities of the financial institution

·          Assure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations

Qualifications

·          Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior financial position with extensive administrative experience in financial institutions

·          Extensive background in financial institution accounting and auditing, operations, policies and procedures related to procurement

·          Must have extensive knowledge of Interest Rate Risk and Asset Liability Management

·          Advanced knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and Bank accounting policies and procedures

·          Must have traditional Community Bank Experience
