SUMMARY:
MEGA Clinic LLC, based in Colorado Springs, provides a full range of educational services to coaches while simultaneously providing marketing and sales opportunities for our sponsors and exhibitors. The twelve year old company is experiencing rapid growth with record sales and profits and has approximately 10 employees. MEGA coordinates 30 events and other educational services nationally each year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the oversight of the company’s operations and finances in Colorado Springs. Provides leadership and management in the following areas:
· operations
· accounting
· cash management insurance services
· customer service
· technology
· human resources
· purchasing
· administrative oversight and supervision of the office staff
Serve as a highly trusted member of the senior management team along with the president and the director of sales.
Act as financial advisor to the president and assist the president in budget development and operational control. Authorized to set spending levels against budget as well as recommend prioritization of financial resources. Authorized to hold each area accountable for fiscal and operational stewardship.
Review operations to isolate problem areas, develop remediation plan, assess and report progress against key initiatives and evaluate on-going effectiveness and efficiency of operation.
Assess the effectiveness of human resources to ensure optimal productivity.
Prepare reports for the president and actively participates in leadership meetings with the senior team.
Represent MEGA Clinic LLC in its dealings with its bank, attorney, independent accountant, and other parties, including dealings with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 8 years of increasing responsibility with emphasis on
financial and operational control
· Bachelors Degree in Finance preferred but degrees or
experience in Business Management are acceptable if coupled
with strong financial analysis; CPA or MBA a plus
· Excellent interpersonal skills including supervision of people
· Self starter and able to effectively manage multiple tasks
simultaneously
· Proven negotiation skills
· Working knowledge of employee relations issues and health plans
· Ability to communicate complex analysis in a concise,
straightforward manner that is easy to understand
· Demonstrated ability to manage projects from start to finish to
enhance business performance and profitability improvement
· Strong results orientation
· Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with hands on
involvement
