A nationally recognized Multi-Billion Dollar Chemical Company has an urgent need for an Account Manager to sell Technical Chemicals to Large End-Users!
Our long term client is a Fortune 500 Chemical Manufacturer. They are experiencing phenomenal growth. They have an immediate need for a Sales Rep/Account Manager to sell Technical Chemicals to industries such as University, Biotech, Automotive, General Industrial, Steel, Aerospace, Utility, etc. Would like for someone to be based in Charlotte, Winston-Salem or Greensboro North Carolina. Territory concentrated in the Western half of NC and the Southern part of Virginia. Client is willing to consider relocation.
Ideal Candidate must have a 4 year degree with a technical degree being ideal Will have 7+ years of prior Chemical or Heavy Industrial Sales experience. Products are generally sold on a contract basis. Must have strong communication and negotiating skills. Prior long term contract sales experience preferred.

Incumbent will sell bulk liquid technical chemicals. Will maintain existing accounts while growing the territory. Very limited overnight travel. Will sell associated equipment. Will make presentations to customers and prospects. This is a large, prestigious type sale. We need a relationship seller, but we need someone that is an aggressive closer.
