Description:
Volt is currently working with a wholesale manufacturer and distributor of high grade fertilizers and feed ingredients. The company is looking for a Chemical Engineer with experience in the design, construction and operation of a chemical manufacturing process. The responsibilities include design and construction of new plants and storage facilities. One part of the job is evaluating existing manufacturing processes and making recommendations for cost and quality improvements. The company uses Lean Manufacturing principles to improve processes and reduce costs. The successful candidate can show proven success in designing similar facilities and improving manufacturing processes. A hands-on approach is important to success in this position. Requirements:
4-year degree in Engineering. (Chemical strongly preferred) 4 years experience in process engineering. Self-Motivated and comfortable working with all levels of management Strong communication and problem solving skills Computer skills including MS Office and Lotus Notes, AutoCad and PowerPoint Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
