Evergreen Engineering is currently seeking a full-time CHEMICAL/PROCESS ENGINEER who will interface directly with our Project Managers and provide design services for our rapidly growing list of clients.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Technical skill set requires strong knowledge, proven experience and ability to manage design of the following systems including controls philosophy development:
- High Purity Piping systems (UPW and gases)
- Water purification systems
- Toxic, flammable, pyrophoric and other gas systems
- Bulk Chemical Delivery (BCD) systems
- Waste Water collection and treatment systems
- Chemical reaction, separation, and purification.
· Intermediate to excellent computer skills with MS Windows XP, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· Process simulation.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD a plus.
· Effective communication and impromptu problem solving skills.
· Ability to follow through in a self-motivated fashion.
· Ability to work in a cost-effective, customer-focused, team-based environment.
· Understanding and skill in assessing a customer’s requirements/needs in the field.
Job Description:
· Leadership of a process team (engineers and designers).
· Managing systems design and implementation from concept design and criteria development through commissioning and turnover.
· Familiarity with applicable Codes and Standards including ability to understand and apply Client Design Criteria and Specifications.
· Interfacing with multiple disciplines, Project Management, System Owners, Customers, General Contractor, Sub-contractor, and AHJ Teams.
· Utility requirements, Modeling, and analysis.
· Use databases to determine utility requirements for the process tool set.
· Analysis of the requirements against installed capability.
· System Start Up, Commissioning and Integration Planning including no-impact planning.
· Strong communication and presentation skills; Team player and self-motivated.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
PE license preferred, but not required.
