Company is an Engineering Think Tank hired to investigate, reconstruct, reenact and conduct failure analysis of various accidents, problems, and quality issues. Company is well know in their industry. Company looking for candidates with multiple academic engineering degrees, with diverse experience in "their" field of engineering.

Director of Chemical Engineering (or Material Science or Materials Engineering) will Participate and/or lead investigations of accidents or incidents in Chemical Plants, manufacturing plants and other situations involving chemicals, polymers, fires and explosions. This engineer will consult on intellectual property issues related to chemical processing or manufacturing.

Experience in:

R&D, operations, process development or product development for chemical or mfg industries. Preferred experience in product testing, failure analysis and material selection. A diverse well rounded background is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS: (please read carefully!)

PH.D in Chemical Engineering (or Materials Science or Engineering) and 10 Years + Experience.

MUST HAVE PE LICENSE OR CAPABLE OF SITTING WITHIN A YEAR TO OBTAIN IT.

EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS. EXCELLENT "INTERPERSONAL SKILLS" WITH BOTH CLIENTS AND OTHER ENGINEERS.

ABLE TO MULTITASK, PRIORITIZE AND HANDLE PROJECT MANAGEMENT.

Prefer experience with OSHA, EPA and EPA regulations.

You could come out of industry or academics (with a large project and R&D background). Location is near Charlotte, NC also, avail in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
