Experience The Flavor of Things To Come! SAGE is currently seeking a talented and energetic Chef Manager for a private School in Virginia Beach.
The manager will manage the lunch service for this prestigious school Monday through Friday and manage any additional catering that is needed.
The ideal candidate will have prior retail food service management experience as well as a basic knowledge of culinary trends and production.
This Chef manager will have at least 2 years of prior catering and food service management experience. The candidate should have a culinary background and have knowledge of current food trends. Computer knowledge and organizational skills are a must.
Responsibilities of this position will include menu development, ordering and inventory, production, receivables, catering management, sanitation, team development, and general location management. Client interaction and customer service are key components of this position. Candidate should be as skilled in front of the house presentation and showmanship as he/she is in the kitchen.
