Star Billing, a proud member of the MedStar Health system, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Charge Entry Representative to join our team in Wheaton, MD.

Duties include:

Handling data entry of surgical, OB, and pain management anesthesia charges Ensuring proper ICD9 and CPT coding, concurrency and referral management for pain clinicDownloading of patient demographicsClaim and statement processing

Position requires:

HS diploma or equivalentOne year in Patient Accounting or related fieldStrong data entry skillsInsurance claims experience, third party insurance and self-pay billing experienceKnowledge of medical terminology Anesthesia billing knowledge/experience preferred.
