Position Description

 

The Latin America team will provide visibility on both global and regional cross category program status. Manage the overall programs pipeline within the regional and sales unit teams.  The responsibility and purpose of the Latin America Channel & Training team is the localization of internal sell-in/sell-out materials and trainings to ensure that  Solutions/Experiences are launched and sold (sell-in/sell-out) the best possible way.  As a Latin America Channel & Training Manager you will add value to the business and to Selling Capability's objectives by planning the introduction and training programs for the operator (retail) channel and then working together with the Latin America team to execute on that plan. A strong feedback loop needs to be established to be sure we are meeting the expectations and needs of Retail and account teams. In addition, the materials, demos and value-based argumentation that Selling Capability's functions will create will be customized for the operator channel and you will play a big part in that task. You will be working closely with the Global Channel & Training team in the planning and roll-out of training events in the Latin America regions for the retail channel and will be expected to be the key driver to match our training programs to the needs of the retail channel. This role requires you to plan, coordinate with multiple people from different parts of the organization, and combine/create exciting and interesting materials/demos/sales argumentation for the channel introductions to retail.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Plan the training programs according to market roadmaps and regional plansDrive the execution of quality training programs from Global to regional and Sales Units to the retail customersSupport the customization and added value based argumentation to materials and demos for the retail and Business Mobility channelActively co-operate with Retail and account teams to find out their requirements for their customersTrain the sales force who take care Retail Accounts with the best possible materials, demos and value-based argumentationEnsure that market programs are aligned and synchronized with the overall company Categories Portfolio and Planning.Ensure that market strategy at Retail channel is aligned with regional plans.

Requirements

Deep understanding of Retail Business Models and strong background in the customer interface with major retail companies in Latin America or North AmericaExperience with Consumer Marketing and Retail Trade MarketingAbility to develop Business Rationale and Business Cases relevant to Retail and Distribution ChannelsStrong capability to translate global documents to materials relevant for Latin America Retail and Distribution ChannelsBroad understanding of consumer electronics, mobile communication and traditional mobile phones business.Experience in Sales & Marketing for a consumer electronic company or retail company, with excellent presentation, negotiation and strategic planning skills.Typically 10 years relevant experience. MBA Degree.Fluent in Spanish and English
