The following are primary goals of the CHANNEL SALES MANAGER:
· Overall responsibility is to recruit, train, develop relationships, and drive partners to generate revenue through selling Broadview Networks Voice/Data/ISP/VOIP services.
· Channel Manager will identify potential partners and engage them through telemarketing, cold calling, etc.
· Job functions will include recruiting, contract negotiations, training new and existing partners, partner process management, order management, issue resolution, funnel management, forecasting, partner/company liaison, assisting partners in sales efforts, etc.
· Channel Manager is responsible for developing a book of partners from the ground up and driving them to generate revenue equal to or beyond the CM’s determined quota.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 5+ years selling Voice/Data/VOIP or similar services in the small to medium business arena
· 1-3 years Sales Management experience managing indirect partners
· Understanding of the CLEC industry
· Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
· Ability to exceed quota through 3rd party sales
· Detailed knowledge of indirect channel sales
· Strong interpersonal, communication, issue resolution, relationship management and negotiating skills
· Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
