We are seeking an experienced Channel Sales Course Developer. Responsibilities include; setting curriculum strategy, defining training requirements, and content development. The training is focused on meeting the technical sales needs of Dell Enterprise Architecture Partner sales representatives through instructor led training with web-based classes and additional mediums.


Description:
Successful candidate will need to have a strong background in Solutions Selling and Consultative Sales methodologies. A background in Networking Infrastructure, Storage Area Networks, and iSCSI would be helpful. Focus of the courses is high level technical overview with primary focus on solutions based selling. Delivery will mostly be instructor led training with opportunities to deliver web-based classes.


Key Responsibilities:

Define and develop new course material and perform course updates to existing courses including lecture, hands-on labs, exams, and instructor guides. Some travel will be required for course audits and course instruction.

Required to work with product teams & engineers to learn new products & features and to stay current on the latest storage solutions and technologies; develop new courses, maintain/improve existing courses.

At least 4 years hands-on experience as a Trainer/ Course developer, with experience in Sales methodologies and as many of the following disciplines as possible:

Gigabit Ethernet and TCP/IP networks

Storage Area Networks, with iSCSI a plus

Storage solutions such as - data management, backup and recovery, and Disaster Recovery

Enterprise servers

Replications and snapshots.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

Able to demonstrate established technical experience and knowledge, solid training, presentation, verbal & written communications skills,
Be passionate about training

Ability to learn technical and complex concepts and be able to develop and deliver to learners of varying educational, technical, cultural, and experience levels

Strong oral and written communications skills.

Result orientated with an ability to manage multiple priorities

Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.

Must be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work schedule.
