We have an immediate need for an enthusiastic Channel Product Manager to support our mobile commerce and e- commerce initiatives and related operational activities. This individual will be responsible for facilitating product launches and updates thru these channels, creating sales reports and ad-hoc sales analysis. To be considered you must have a strong background in SQL and previous reporting and data analysis experience. You will use your SQL and analysis skills and be given the chance to take ownership of all reporting and data analysis within the company.
Role & Responsibilities:
E-Commerce/Mobile-Commerce
- Responsible for pushing product updates and new product launches through these channels
- Responsible for updating content periodically on-device catalogs. Update offer pages, price changes and software distribution
- Build sales reports for management that provides insights
- Build new reports that answer unusual end-user questions
- Performs routine research and analysis to support sales operations
- Performs Competitive intelligence gathering and product feature set comparisons
- Collate and produce supporting product material for consumer market and internal communications to including graphics such as screen captures, product features / benefits and multimedia presentations.
- Create sales and marketing tools to streamline operations and reduce costs
- Support role for Public Relations initiatives and external communications related to our products
- Provide recommendations in improvements of SQL database, products, consumer data capture, work-flow and e-commerce facilitation.
Professional Background & Skills:
- BA/BS in Engineering, Business or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business or product management analysis
- Product management experience required
- Proficient in writing SQL queries, highly proficient in Excel, scripting capabilities such as Visual Basic
- Experience in business analytics tools such as Crystal reports is a plus
- Solid understanding of DRM (Digital Rights Management) and software licensing schemes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and administrative skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, driven; ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to quickly changing situations and requirements
- Works effectively with the product / sales team to ensure integrated marketing efforts and successful execution of marketing programs
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues and offer potential solutions
- Experience in mobile office software and consumer e-commerce preferred
