Basic qualifications:
BS/BA degree in marketing or related discipline 3+ years of experience in direct marketing disciplines.
Preferred qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of project management experience with a demonstrated aptitude for managing multiple projects:
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment. Experience with the selection, contracting and management of marketing services providers. Experience with project planning software, particularly MS Project and Excel. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing deliverables. Experience in, or working knowledge of, the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry Certification in Project Management Experience in direct-to-consumer and/or direct-to-patient advertising and marketing activities Experience in direct-to-physician advertising and marketing activities Experience and understanding of regulations governing direct marketing, internet marketing, telemarketing, and database marketing (CRM).

Channel Implementation Leads are responsible for successful implementation and execution of Direct Marketing activities: including, Internet / online marketing (Search Engine Marketing, Banner/Display ads, product web sites, direct response microsites, etc.); CRM / Database Marketing (direct mail, email campaigns, retention programs, database management, etc.), and Non-rep physician marketing (eDetailing, direct mail, etc.).
Channel Implementation Leads must:
Manage GSK resources and external vendors for on-time and on-budget delivery of interactive and direct marketing activities that meet activity objectives. This includes a thorough understanding of the capabilities and strengths of the vendors identified as “preferred/approved" available for assignment on GSK initiatives. Perform project management according to agreed GSK Project Management processes Author Statements of Work (SOW) and scope documents that clearly describe the overall objectives of activities. Ensure adherence to FDA and GSK Legal policies and guidelines Leverage industry and internal best practice to ensure efficient and effective implementation into market. Provide timely and accurate reporting and invoicing and management of external business partners Communicate activity status in a clear and timely fashion to various stakeholders Identify and manage risk factors that may negatively impact activity timelines. Manage and report on-going financial status each project and program Execute the process for managing content life cycle of GSK Internet/Direct Marketing Promotions activities Ensure proper documentation for copy approval meetings and in post-launch regulatory filings (Internet Promotion) as appropriate Conduct ongoing process improvements and cost savings
