Position Duties / Details:

CNA will be expected to assist with vital signs of patients, transporting/escorting patients to other parts of the hospital, and to perform general cleaning that nursing staff is responsible for, such as stretchers, rolling stock, etc. Must have strong communication skills and be able to interact with patients and families, and provide excellent customer service.

Experience/Qualifications Needed:

CNA must be cleared by the VA Medical Center for computer access and complete cyber-security and privacy training prior to reporting for duty.

Must be able to push/pull and lift 50 lbs. There would be frequent walking and standing.

Minimum 6 months of experience.

Graduate of state approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program.

CNA and BLS/CPR certification required.

Hours:

Coverage is required 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Available shifts include 11pm-7:30am, 7a-3:30pm, and 3-11:30pm.
