Cashier / Receptionist

                                         

The ideal candidate will obtains payment for goods by itemizing and totaling customer's purchases.  Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; maintains telecommunications system. 

Duties:

Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.Handle in-bound and out-bound calls.Itemize and total purchases by recording prices, taxable and nontaxable items; operating a cash register.Review customer statements and collect appropriate balances.
Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; making change for cash customers.Balance cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.Ability to adapt and work in various areas within the store.Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, which may include some Saturdays.Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (Cashier).Maintains safe and clean work station.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

 

Requirements

High school graduate preferred.  Good customer service, excellent communication skills with ability to deal effectively with the public in a congenial pleasant manner.  Knowledge of computers and software preferred.   Must be dependable, high energy individual with the ability to handle pressure.
