The Cash Application Associate records payment to the company’s system while retrieving information from correspondence sent in. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

•Take deposits to the bank

•Look-up payments in the system

•Post payments to the system (including payments from the mail, branch offices, safe, western union, money grams, credit cards, and the forwarding departments)

•Balance posting batches

•Process NSF checks received from the bank

•Delete phone pays requested by collectors

•Spool and balance phone pays

•Prepare deposits from batches posted

•Scan deposits from prepared deposits

•Filing

•Research check/deposit copies as requested

•Balance and prepare the Collection Report on Monarch and Excel

•Other duties may be assigned.
