Scope of Responsibilities Must be competent in framing; trim carpentry, sheetrock, siding. Other skills would be helpful Must be skilled in handling power equipment Accuracy is critical to providing a satisfactory product and service Adhere to the project time lines and meet the deadlines Insure that the quality standards of the company are upheld Specific Duties Be able to follow the instructions of the lead carpenter Build according to the plans in the job file Plan the work in accordance with the schedule developed by the lead carpenter Maintain positive customer communication Maintain a clean work site. Clean site at the end of each work day Comply with job safety regulations Complete framing and the other trades in a timely fashion Expectations and Accountability This is a full time position. Arriving on time is a requirement and overtime hours are expected when needed All staff is expected to be positive representatives of the company. Respect for customers, employees, vendors and sub-contractors are expected. Professionalism in behavior, personal appearance and language is expected. Keeping a clean job site is part of our image and needs to be maintained. The person in this position is expected to complete the jobs within the time frame of the estimate. The person in this position is accountable to the Lead Carpenter
