Job Description:
Did you know that RN and LPN students who have completed fundamentals of nursing can apply to be a CHHA?

Home Care can give you the satisfaction of knowing that every day you make a difference in someone's life. Duties may include activities of daily living and personal care such as: bathing, dressing, ambulation, meal preparation and feeding, assistance with grooming and toileting, escort client to appointments, perform light housekeeping, laundry, run errands as requested. Our goal is to build relationships by matching personality and availability with the needs of our staff and clients. If you are interested in doing pediatric cases, CPR is required.

Here is the process:

A student who can verify via school records that they have completed fundamentals of nursing can take the competency exam given at the completion of the CHHA courses without the course! Complete the Board of Nursing paper work for the initial certificate, attach school records, pay the BON fee of $80, send the the paperwork to the BON and you get your HHA license. We can then offer you positions giving you the opportunity to earn valuable experience while you're still attending nursing school.
