GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
We are looking for a seasoned and savvy Finance professional to lead our Financial Planning and Analysis Department in the role of Director, FP&A, reporting to the CFO. In this role, you will support senior leaders in various functional groups and be responsible for financial modeling, forecasting, and developing internal management reports. You will gain invaluable experience in a position which offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior management as well as considerable opportunity to "leave your mark" on a growing organization. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key leader and contributor in a high-energy growth environment.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following but other duties may be assigned.
• Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting and planning processes by partnering with senior leaders across the organization and managing a staff of 3.
• Develop financial forecasts of headcount, operating expenses, and capital expenditures and perform budget vs. actual analysis.
• Create reporting packages and work with senior management to define and track key performance metrics.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives in key areas such as real estate and new store openings.
• Take a leadership role in defining and implementing scalable financial processes to support the growth of the business.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
• Create schedules and analytics reports to support financials slides for executive presentations and plan documentation
• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, menu pricing, new store rollouts as well as improve accuracy of forecasting
• Prepare Quarterly Board of Directors Package as well as monthly Management Reports
REQUIREMENTS: Include the following.
• Bachelor degree with a concentration in business, finance or accounting. Advanced degree desired.
• 8-10 years financial analysis experience from a leading public accounting, Fortune 500 or high growth firm;
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing annual budgeting processes
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills, in-depth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a focus on business issues.
• Support CFO and Treasurer with modeling the company's cash flow on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Participate in MD&A activities to be included in the annual and quarterly reports
