Partnering with ProStrakan, a rapidly expanding international specialty pharmaceutical company headquartered in Scotland; we are currently seeking SDMs.
ProStrakan is committed to meeting the unmet needs of patients and alleviating patient suffering. In this critical role the SDM will lead a team of 9 to 10 Specialty Oncology Representatives (SORs) launching a new product for cancer patients. SORs will deliver clinical information to healthcare professionals including medical oncologists, oncology nurses, office managers, pharmacists, in addition to being responsible for Comprehensive Cancer Centers, and Cancer Hospitals. The selling approach will be scientific in nature and require a strong patient management/disease management approach.
Specific accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
*Build a district sales team consisting of 9 to 10 SORs
*Achieve sales growth in district, which results in exceeding sales expectations
*Ensure effective territory management as it relates to targeting, frequency, message, and programs
*Must be viewed by the oncology community as a resource and a colleague
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, knowledgeable in oncology markets, have good analytical decision making abilities, exceptional business acumen, and a commitment to lead and inspire.
Specific Qualifications:
Tremendous empathy and passion to providing support to the cancer patient required
*Bachelor's Degree
*Proven track record leading a pharmaceutical sales team, oncology experience preferred
*2+ years of pharmaceutical management experience
*Institutional, Long Term Care and Supportive Care experience
