Buyer: International company located in Mobile County is seeking a buyer to procure materials and services .

Duties:

Lead sourcing activities for indirect materials and services acquisition.Prepare, submit, and analyze bidding documentation Identify, qualify, and manage reliable suppliersLead all sourcing commercial issues for assigned commodity - including negotiation, preparation, and execution of contractsNegotiate prices, volumes, timing and commercial terms and conditionsPrepare decision for awarding supply contracts and purchase ordersSupport claims management processProvide and maintain procurement data in SAP-MM and other ERP systems

Requirements:

BS in Engineering or Business AdministrationMinimum of 8 years of indirect materials and services strategic sourcing experiencingExperience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)Must know SAP-MMExperience in construction environment a plusCPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) a plusKnowledge of contract law and US Commercial Code
