Description:
The basic functions of the Lead Buyer are to manage the Line Item buying department in the procurement of product to develop, measure and maintain successful and growing vendors and put together large requests for proposals. The Buyer's functional role involves overseeing that all products are obtained at the right time and at the best negotiated price (through negotiations with food manufacturers) while still ensuring the consistent quality required.

Requirements:
- Requires High School or equivalent. A Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business or related field preferred. - A minimum of 2 years buying or purchasing, management or leadership experience. (Knowledgeable in general purchasing procedures). - Computer literate. - Ability to directly interface with all levels of workforce. * * * Recent College graduates encouraged to respond.
