Our client, a Fortune 500 supplier to both industrial and consumer products firms seeks Buyer. As Buyer you will work with the Supply Chain team and numerous manufacturing facilities on a global basis. You will be in charge of key commodities involved in the manufacture of the company’s line of products.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
You must have a track record of proven success in cost reduction and productivity improvement using innovative approaches to Supply Chain Management.
Experience in E-Commerce, E-Auctions, E-Sourcing is preferred. We prefer a candidate who has been managing a total spend of $10M-$20M+ with at least 20% in E-Commerce.
Excellent knowledge of systems, such as SAP, ERP, MRP, JD Edwards is preferred... Six Sigma background and experience in Lean Manufacturing is also highly desired. Degree required.
