Ultimate Staffing partnered with Bally Technologies is currently seeking a Buyer/Planner for our Las Vegas location near McCarren Airport.

Identify and develop strategic suppliers to support critical components, sub-assemblies and turnkey requirements to meet manufacturing schedules.  Negotiate short and long term contracts for material and services to meet business needs and objectives.

 

Duties:

Procures parts, subassemblies, assemblies and services. 

Develops procurement packages.

Maintains and updates material requirements plan and inventory. 

Negotiates pricing and delivery strategies with vendors. 

Maintains price variance standards. 

Initiates supplier “ECN” notifications. 

Reviews bill of materials and prints. 

Selects Suppliers. 

Monitors supplier quality and delivery. 

Identifies and meets goals – materials inside/outside company functions.

Supports materials and engineering departments with new product introductions and/or projects. 

Coordinates suppliers and internal functions.

Qualification:

Four to ten years experience in procurement, materials, program and project management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to read and interpret blueprints; computer skills (MRP and Mapics experience preferred).

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent work experience.  Licenses and certifications required.  APICS certification beneficial.

Pre-employment hair sample drug screen and background check required.
