BUYER/MATERIAL PLANNER

KIK MEMPHIS located in Memphis, TN procures, blends, fills and packages a wide variety of liquid personal care products.

We are seeking a BUYER/MATERIAL PLANNER to join the KIK - Memphis team. This position will be responsible for the timely delivery of materials to support a high-speed packaging manufacturing operation. This includes managing material levels and exposure. Must also be able to communicate potential issues to suppliers.

Business degree and NAPM Certification preferred

Minimum of 3 years experience purchasing packaging and/or chemicals

Previous purchasing background/experience in a manufacturing environment is required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel

AS400 computer skills, experience with MRO acquisition and JD Edwards utilization are a plus

Excellent organizational skills; Ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease
