We have an immediate opportunity for a Byuer III at our corporate office in downtown Fort Worth, TX.

Responsible for planning end-product and accessory assortments; negotiating programs, cost and terms with vendors; budgeting responsibility for forecasting and delivering sales and profit targets for category; working with a cross-functional team; managing assistant and/or associate buyer; developing offer and promotional strategies to drive sales for independent channels; managing in-store selling procedures to ensure efficiency and minimize fraud

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree

- 1 - 2 years of general business experience

- 5+ years of experience as a buyer in a retail environment

- Buying and inventory management skills

- Superior negotiation and relationship management skills

- Computer proficient with high degree of skill with Excel and Outlook

- Ability to develop and manage cross-functional teams

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress, ever-changing, often ambiguous environment

- Highly organized, with attention to detail

- Some travel required
