We are currently seeking an experienced Buyer in Houston, TX. 

Position Description: To coordinate the activities involved in procurement of inventory for higher visibility suppliers and/or suppliers where more interaction is required. To monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels as well as monitoring and maintaining good relations with suppliers, customer service representatives, sales people, and accounts payable personnel.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Operations or equivalent experience. 1 to 3 years experience in Purchasing, Material Control, or Distribution.

Desirable Qualifications (but not required): APICS Certification a plus.
