POSITION PROFILE:
-Regional/Local produce buyer located in the Pageland SC Distribution Center.
-Responsible for sourcing and managing local products in a multi-state area.
-Includes business planning, procurement, grower management and managing a P&L under the direction of the Regional lead.
-Local/Regional travel is frequent with some longer distance travel possible.

REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
-Previous expereince as an Asst. Buyer, equivalent outside buying exerience or store operating experience in a perishables/produce setting.
-Demonstrated management abilities in a current or previous position.
-Base understanding of cost/retail financials and inventory accounting.
-Strong communication skills.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
-Computer skills, Excel, WOrd, Powerpoint, Outlook
-College degree, expereince will be considered in lieu of.
