Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Business Systems Analyst Specialist to join our team in Palm Springs, California. Job Responsibilities: The Business Systems Analyst’s role is to coordinate the operational support and long-term direction for healthcare application systems, including data integrity, security, confidentiality, maintenance, training, vendor interaction and project management for new product installations and updates. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT system investments. Required Skills: 2 to 3 years experience with Cerner applications including implementation and support. Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge to business situations. Able to independently manage multiple priorities, as well as handle sudden changes in priorities. Ability to convey instructions and provide direction to others. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally. Desired Skills: Experience in systems analysis in a healthcare setting. Previous project management experience. Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business or a computer related field or 2 to 3 of healthcare experience in management, systems analysis or project management.
