Description:
This is a Full time position located in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

OFS Furukawa, LLC, a global manufacturer of fiber optic cable, is seeking experienced Business Systems Analyst for its Optical Manufacturing facility located in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

Candidate will be responsible for Microsoft SQL database administration, MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Help Desk and IT support to the optical fiber manufacturing operation. She/he will work directly with the users to identify business requirements, design and implement the solution. Experiences in manufacturing environment, shop floor automation and systems integration are necessary to support the continuous process improvement requirements. Working experience with or knowledge of ERP system (preferably SAP) is a plus. Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualified candidate must have 5+ years of relational database experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent.

Required Experiences and Skills:

-Project experience with SAP conversion.
-Web application development language: HTML to support our internal website.
-Experiences with relational database Microsoft SQL
-SQL database query language.

-Microsoft SQL server administration

-Work experiences and knowledge of networks, Windows server and Windows PC.
-Experience using barcode scanners and barcode label printers (Zebra, Intermec)
-Application development interfacing with manufacturing equipment and barcode label printers.

-Must be able to work as a strong team player within our IT department.
