This is an opportunity to work for a world class money center bank. Position available in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Base salary is $75- 90K, plus generous quarterly sales incentives and annual bonus.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement plans to manage a small business loan portfolio of small business commercial customers within an assigned branch market.The focus is on increasing business with existing customers, as well as bringing in business from new ones.Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with small business customers with sales up to about $20 million.Cross sell other company products and services to further expand relationships.Compile and analyze the necessary information to develop timely, accurate credit recommendations.Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory guidelines.Develop relationships with referral sources, such as attorneys, accountants, and influential members of the community, to identify prospects for new business opportunities.Monitor assigned portfolio to identify any deteriorating credit situations and take appropriate actions.Maintain a strong understanding of the customer's business and industry .Requirements:
Minimum five years experience of proven and progressive business development and commercial credit experience.Strong knowledge of credit to have an understanding of potential credit risks.Understanding and experience in either the Manhattan or Brooklyn marketplace.
