Description:
Business Process Integrator (Senior Analyst) to support the Office of the GMD Joint Program Office (JPO) administrative lead in Huntsville, Alabama. Ensure the JPO-specific Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) supports desired business processes improvement efforts at all levels. DoD Secret security clearance is required. Essential Job Functions
Maintains the architecture for the business process domain to ensure alignment with the organization's technology priorities.
Implements the principles, directions and standards as they relates to the business process solution framework at the program/project level.
Evaluates business process solutions to ensure flexibility to support incremental development, ongoing maintenance and future enhancements to the system architecture.
Understands and implements recommendations for program/project schedules and business process functionality to meet technology and business process objectives without compromising the integrity of operations.
Participates in meetings and workshops with clients to ensure that there are no gaps or inconsistencies in the initial business process solution architectural design and none emerge over time.
Assists in technical reviews and inspections in order to insure that system designs are meeting architectural standards.
Provides and reviews time estimates in regard to proposed system/architectural enhancement projects.



Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, or related field preferred
Seven or more years of experience in business process and business analysis
Experience working with the software development life cycle
Experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization
Experience working with business process architecture

Other Qualifications

Java Script / HTML experience (Plumtree / AcquaLogic preferable)Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, management and team members. Work requires routine direct coordination with multiple customers within the GMD JPO, at Missile Defense Agency headquarters and possibly other DoD services and organizations requiring excellent customer relation/interaction and communication skills. Excellent communication skills, and ability to take extremely complex issues and develop products that simplify and effectively communicate salient points, issues, and arguments. Analytical and problem solving skills. The ability to work-through the leadership challenges of initiation, collaboration, design, implementation, and project management to gain process-centric improvements. Experience with business process analysis, engineering and implementation with the expanding focus on continuous-process customization and managed improvement.Experience with process improvement tools, techniques (for example, benchmarking, quality improvement programs), and technologies that enable process-centric performance improvements to achieve agency missions are key to transitioning the current function-centric enterprise with the information age process-centric enterprise. Good presentation skills to present to management and customers. Ability to work in a high pressure environment and have the individual flexibility to work multiple actions simultaneously and resolve time sensitive issues with well thought out and prepared products.Good personal computer and business solutions software skills. Advanced background in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and knowledge of / familiarity with database management.Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and work from general mission type tasks, display initiative based upon guidance and intent; and produce viable products without significant supervision.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree. Professional military education. Portal/user interface web design experience and network-shared document architectures. MDA / GMD experience is a plus;a working knowledge of GMD structure/organization. Customer-service oriented; ability to manage multiple levels of organizational requests for assistance.
