The position will be located in our client’s Shreveport, Louisiana office and will report to the Director of Products. The chosen candidate must live in or relocate within the area.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage teams of developers during all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements, definition, design, implementation, testing and documentation).Integrates design direction and delegates tasks as needed.Strictly adheres to project delivery timelines while managing and working as a member of a highly empowered development team.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or a related field is preferred but not requiredMinimum 2 years experience managing software developers Experience in a technical environment with a proven track record of meeting project delivery expectationsExperience working with SQL Server 2000 or 2005 and transact SQL requiredExperience with data-warehousing design and implementation is preferred but not requiredExperience with C#, VB.Net, general reporting tools (Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Hyperion, etc.), SSIS, DTS, Microsoft Reporting Services, and Microsoft Analysis is a plusAbility to learn and implement new technologies as needed Flexibility and creativity in a fast-paced, changing development environment.Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects, and meet expected delivery datesOccasional travel to corporate offices will be required (10-20%)
