The Business Intelligence Specialist (BIS) is responsible for maintaining and growing a corporate-wide Data Warehouse, integrating various data sources through solid ETL methods to provide a consistent, accurate and complete view of essential corporate data. Through the use of Business Intelligence products (Cognos and SAP BW), this data is made available through web-based reporting developed by the BIS. The BIS is also responsible for the administration and performance of the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence server installations.

Essential Job Functions:
* Document the mapping of all data sources to the Data Warehouse.
* Design Data Warehouse table structures using ERWin.
* Must understand Data Warehousing theory and techniques
* Integrate corporate security policies into any developed Data Warehouse with the assistance of network administrators
* Develop supporting data models using Cognos Framework Manager for use in corporate reporting and applications
* Develop robust and precise ETL routines to load the Data Warehouse from various sources

Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor of Computer Science or comparable degree.
* Experience in the design and implementation of a Data Warehouse
* Experience with IBM DB2 UDB.
* Experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos 8 or SAP BW.
* Knowledge of data modeling theory and practiced skillset with CA AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler or similar tool.
