The Manager, Business Intelligence will lead tactical execution on Harley-Davidson Financial Services data, analysis and reporting for all areas of HDFS, with the exception of Finance and Accounting-related reports.   

 

·         Provide management with targeted, incisive and succinct dashboards, analysis, and supporting reports that enable data-driven decisions.

·         Partner with Technology and the business to rationalize existing reports, obtain data, and create new reports and dashboards

·         Ensure HDFS continues to evolve in its data integrity, analysis, and reporting capabilities in an environment of continuous improvement.

·         Lead design and implementation of Commercial Credit dashboards, enhanced monitoring tools, and risk rating model(s)

·         Ensure that all recurring reporting requirements are created in a timely and accurate manner; analyze the results and provide incisive commentary

·         Meet ad hoc data requests and/or oversee the Portfolio Analyst’s process to complete the ad hoc request; manage the prioritization of requests

·         Lead Datamart definitions, user documentation/library, testing, and recommend refinements

·         Assist the business units in preparing required routine reporting; enhance report designs and create dashboards

·         Assist in the development of prototype analytical and reporting tools as well as training for all data-users throughout HDFS to ensure consistency and accuracy

·         Spend time each year in the various business units to better understand their operations and appreciate their needs.Experience & Knowledge

·         Successful candidate will have 5+ years of financial services industry experience, preferably in consumer and/or commercial finance

·         Experience in designing and delivering data warehouse/datamarts, reports, and dashboards.

·         Technical hands-on database reporting software skills, such as Business Objects, SAS, Crystal Reports, or Cognos (experience with multiple software packages preferred)

·         Advanced level Excel skills, VBA and MS Access preferred

·         Ability to travel up to 15%
