Develops and manages an account portfolio, including deposit accounts, commercial and consumer loans, residential mortgages, investments and insurance for a specified branch. Monitors and assesses current account needs as well as potential future needs. Develops branch sales strategic plan including both direct sales and referral activities. Leads sales strategy and planning efforts and creates sales and promotional efforts in order to reach performance goals. Strategizes with team to assess market position and competition opportunities. Monitors plans to ensure completion of goals and objectives. Makes business development calls on both current and prospective small business and retail customers. Compiles necessary data and information for financial analysis. Answers questions and follows up on information requests as needed. Generates and closes small business loans achieving established goals for the branch. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies. keyword: branch manager Requirements: 4-year degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 3-5+ years banking or sales management experience. Supervisory or leadership experience strongly required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated sales management ability. Consumer and Small Business lending experience preferred. Proven ability to manage competing priorities, strategically aligning efforts and activities to meet branch goals and objectives. Previous business development experience required. PC skills .
