We are seeking a Sales Executive to develop new business in the Washington DC Metroplitan Area.  The Sales Executive will drive sales and new customer acquisition through a variety of business development, sales, and account management activities.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

Business Development Responsibilities

·        Development and management of business throughout the entire sales cycle, from strategy to close

·        Development and maintenance of the strategic sales and marketing plan

·        Meeting regularly with management to determine the effectiveness of the sales activities

·        Managing email and direct mail campaigns

·        Track activities and generate weekly and monthly reports using our CRM tool

·        Creation and execution of all proposals and agreements

·        Identifying prospects needs through assessment review and analysis

·        Depending on prospects needs, identifying a solution that will work best to solve the prospects challenges.

 

Prospecting and Networking Activities

·        Development of prospects within target accounts through phone and networking interaction

·        Attendance at networking events and seminars to develop new business

·        Administration of email/calling campaigns and the measurement of their effectiveness

 

Pipeline Management

·        Maintenance of the pipeline of qualified opportunities at varying stages of the sales cycle

·        Coordination of internal resources (i.e. sales engineers, subject matter experts, senior management) to support sales activities (meetings, proposal creation, etc.)

·        Development and tracking of sales forecast

 

Qualified candidates must have:

·        At least 5+ years successful experience in Business-to-Business technology sales

·        Strong background in selling technical solutions/services

·        Bachelors degree (or comparable business experience)

·        Proven and verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding quotas  

·        Strong connections and/or experience selling to the legal community is a plus

 

Compensation includes a base salary of $50-65K plus an aggressive commission structure, full benefits and several other perks.
