Regional Business Development Representative
Position Summary;
This position requires establishing new market(s) for the educational programs offered within the Universities’ College of Nursing and Health Sciences. This is a ground floor opportunity with nearly unlimited potential for the highly experienced individual with a strong business development background. The ability to work independently and in a corporate atmosphere is required.
The following duties are essential to successfully fulfilling these positions requisites:
Meets and exceeds standards for initiating contacts within designated areas i.e. hospital/healthcare facility presentations/promotions delivered within targeted timeframes.
Fulfills monthly goals for student applications and/or leads generated.
Advises students relative to their career aspirations and assists them in appropriate career selection.
Promotes/recruits students through various methods i.e. presentations, mail (electronic and/or post) and be adept with utilizing recognized recruiting principals.
Provides ongoing direction to the student thus allowing avenues for additional referrals and ensuring excellent service during the student’s tenure with the university.
Prepares reports delineating progress and projected goals as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Extensive travel may be required in some areas.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
