Description:
This is an incredible opportunity! You would be responsible for the development of new business and for the retention and expansion of existing contracts. You would cooperatively interact with all internal organizations within ITT Corporation and develop a broad customer base in the SATCOM market segment or areas. You would also provide independent and in-depth assessment/viewpoint relating to new business/follow-on pursuits. Perform Business Development functions required to sustain/develop a program and/or international area. Provide Business Development leadership to assure that the program achieves all goals. Initiate and manage marketing research, Market Segment Strategic planning, manage B&P budgeting, guide IR&D investment planning to achieve order input goals. Provide support for achievement of Market Segment goals from a total business perspective.

Requirements:
Equivalent Education Level Required: Advanced degree in applicable discipline with a minimum of 8 years directly related work experience required. Knowledge Required: In-depth knowledge of SATCOM technology, customers, and competitors and operational deployment of products and services. Direct operational experience in at least one of the stated functional areas is required (experience in multiple functional areas is preferred). Experience in deployed environments and contingency operations is desirable. Extensive understanding of New Business Development and particularly the proposal development process is required. Special Requirements: Value Based Six Sigma certification a plus. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a contractor to the United States Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship.
