The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and converting opportunities into professional services sales in accordance with the strategic objectives of the firm. This position will report directly to the Sr. VP, Regional Manager of the Central Region of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities for the Chicago office in its target markets. They will become involved in local and national organizations to further business contacts and lead exchanges. The Business Development Manager will maintain contact with existing clients and research and develop new client opportunities through planned marketing, sales and public relations activities.

We seek a self starter who is able to maintain focus on marketing objectives, has experience in the design, construction or consulting industry, possesses a proactive, respectful, positive, professional and creative approach with people, is able to listen effectively and communicate clearly and completely in written and oral presentations and formats, has the ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and procure contracts, and can show proven success selling professional services. Degree in a field related to our industry preferred (architecture, construction or engineering).
