With more than 57 Years of Proven Performance, Quanta Systems, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CompuDyne Corporation, is an engineering services firm focused on providing turn-key security system design, fabrication, installation, monitoring, training, operation, maintenance, documentation, and systems integration services to the U.S. Government and industry. Quanta Systems, LLC (Quanta) is currently accepting applications for a qualified Business Development Manager to work in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
· Work with senior management on strategic business planning.
· Develop major pursuits, drive teaming arrangements, develop solution concepts, and monitor business development opportunities within the Federal Government and industry.
· Prepare/coordinate comprehensive proposals in response to U.S. Government Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ).
· Penetrate and generate revenue from Federal agencies.
· Positively reinforce a corporate culture that delivers cost-effective, timely, premium quality, profitable products and services.
· Assist with the creation of new marketing materials.
Qualifications
· Business or engineering degree; exceptions considered.
· Experienced in marketing and sales to both the Federal Government and industry.
· Knowledgeable of Physical and Electronic Security products, systems, and services.
· Excellent personal and professional communication skills.
· Understanding of OEM hardware and software business issues.
· Self-motivated, with his/her own initiatives.
Highly Desirable Qualifications
· Network of customers in Federal agencies.
· Demonstrated success in leading major Government proposal efforts.
· Solid track record of success in the sales and business development field.
· Current U.S. Government security clearance.
Reporting
· Report directly to the Vice President of Business Development at Quanta Systems LLC.
Compensation
· Three-tier compensation plus full benefit package:
o Salary: Industry competitive salary, subject to levels of education, experience, and knowledge of physical and electronic security, and demonstrated contribution potential.
o Commission: Commissions, accretive to salary, will be awarded in accordance with a written plan, as a percentage of bookings.
o Bonus: Bonuses are awarded for exceptional performance, i.e. contributions above and beyond standard job requirements, most particularly those that substantially grow the company, broaden the customer base, enhance corporate reputation, expand product and service offerings, and increase profit margins.
