The U.S. Government is the largest buyer of translation services in the world today and thebigword has won a contract to sell to any Federal Agency.
We require a highly motivated sales professional from the Language Services industry to join our US sales team.
This Business Development Manager role involves a combination of telephone and field sales work. We require this role to be Washington DC-based but it will also require frequent travel throughout the US.
The purpose of this role is to:
maximize the sales revenue from new and existing clients and to develop strong and profitable business relationships increase, develop and diversify the client base in accordance with the company's technical development program and business plan liaise with all the appropriate departments in relation to major accounts and direct them as appropriate
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience selling translation and interpretation services to different types of Government Agencies Fluent English Competency in other languages considered an advantage Excellent communication skills Motivation to work in a home-office scenario
