Function:

1.      Manage and grow North East (New Jersey/Pennsylvania Area) sales territory.  To achieve quarterly and annual sales based upon the assigned plan.  To manage and implement the sales process to sell drug development and contract manufacturing services to a key group of existing and potential accounts. 

Accountabilities:

1.      Learn DPT capabilities, technical aspects of formulation and manufacturing services.

2.      Meet or exceed assigned revenue goal.

3.      Manage incoming leads and generate new leads to grow sales pipeline.

4.      Effectively manage a new opportunity through the funnel to closure.

5.      Manage productivity goals such as T&E, two month proposal, consistent pipeline, one new deal closed per quarter

6.      Participate in local and national tradeshows and conferences as required

7.      Complete sales tracking requirements such as ACT, Sales Call Reports, Pipeline updates, Miller Heiman selling tools.

8.      Understand and comply with all DFB Pharmaceuticals, Inc. safety, environmental and quality practices and procedures as outlined in organizational/departmental guidelines and SOPs as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

1.      Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university is required. 

2.      Minimum four years related experience is required.  Business-to-business sales are preferred. 

3.      Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus. 

4.      Will be working in the North East sales territory.
