Family Home Health Services, a growing, employee focused, Medicare Certified Home Health Agency in Plymouth, MI is currently looking for experienced Home Health Business Developers with established medical community relationships.
Job Purpose:
Develops relationships with Home Health referral sources to gather "Medicare" Home Health referrals by locating, visiting, defining and cultivating relationships.
Duties:
* Identifies referral sources by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
* Locates or proposes potential referral sources by contacting physicians, hospitals, facilities, etc...; discovering and exploring opportunities.
* Participates in community events; senior citizen activities, activities to maintain personal networks; and professional organizations.
* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing referral quota, new and different referral methods; and exploring opportunities to add value to business relationships.
* Assists in the development of new medical business development materials, brochures, displays, etc., for the Company.
* Assists in the training of all Branch Staff in the ongoing Business Development activities in accordanc
with Company policies and procedures.
* Ensures that the Company is represented professionally in the local medical community where the agency is located.
* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
