Establish, develop and foster quality business relations to generate new business and help retain clients. Individual's performance will be evaluated based on, but not limited to, achieving financial & sales goals and on providing quality customer service.
Essential Functions:
* Establish relationships with potential and existing clients to distinguish AlliedBarton from our competitors, including travel to/from face to face meetings.
* Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Accurately analyze clients' needs and prepare and submit formal written proposals.
* Work with District Manager to utilize the resources and expertise of AlliedBarton to add value after the sale and enhance retention levels.
* Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
* Maintain accurate manual and SalesForce automated records and historical data on the sales process.
* Assist regional and corporate managers by performing floating assignments as a possible step for promotional opportunities.
* Maintain regular attendance to ensure avoidance of unpredictable, frequent and/or ongoing late arrivals and chronic tardiness.
Qualifications:
1. College degree preferred; training and experience may be used as an equivalency.
2. Two or more years experience in outside sales in a business to business service environment.
3. Excellent oral communication and writing skills.
4. Some knowledge and experience with the use of quality and/or continuous improvement tools, techniques, practices, etc. preferred.
5. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Microsoft Outlook, etc.; the capability to use and/or learn to use a computer and peripheral equipment required.
6. Good math skills to include fractions and percentages.
7. Ability to work in a team oriented management environment and to help solve problems.
8. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors and the general public.
9. Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, work under stress and continuously improve.
10. Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure compliance with fair employment practices and perform multiple tasks in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
11. Reliable, appropriate transportation to visit clients and potential clients.
